The goal of this gallery is to document as many known painting locations and subjects created by Barchus. As Eliza’s output most likely approached 7,500 paintings in her 50 year career, and many were of the same location with essentially identical composition, this is not an effort to document each individual work of art. Only when an interesting difference in composition exists, are multiple paintings of the same location included in this index. This index is known to be far from complete, but it begins to illustrate that Eliza Barchus was not just the “Mt. Barchus painted only in oil. Only a few watercolor sketches are known. Dimensions of paintings listed in this index are in inches, with the vertical dimension noted first.
