Eliza painted this scene of Mt. Shasta consistently over her career. Mt. Shasta, along with Mt. Hood and Mt. Rainier, were undoubtedly her most frequent sales and as a result they now show up in the market most ofen.  Unfortunately, the steeply cascading stream in many of her Mt. Shastas has a mechanical execution to them, which causes the water to look unnatural.
