This painting, 14 x 7, was in the early stages of becoming a scene of Multnomah Falls before Barchus put it aside for some unknown reason. This waterfall is one of Oregon’s most prominent tourist attraction, both then and now. It is located in the Columbia River gorge, about 35 miles east of Portland.
