With the completion of the Columbia River Highway, the Portland Chamber of Commerce published the Official Columbia Highway Tour guide in 1916. The 48 page publication included maps and scenic photographs of the route the new road traversed. Several merchants also advertised – automobile stations, lodging and dining establishments and “The Oregon Artist.”
