Poem Copyright – We’ll Win the Victory
Like many women of the Victorian era, Eliza penned poems. Some were the subject of her paintings – Multnomah Falls, Mt. Hood, Mt. Shasta and others. She had many professionally typeset and reproduced. In several instances she paid to have the poem copyrighted. This is the 1918 Certificate of Copyright Registration for her war poem entitled We’ll Win the Victory. The following year, with the war over, she obtained another copyright for a slightly changed version of the poem – We Won The Victory.
