Studio Box
Eliza sold her paintings unframed. However, for her smaller works, which were almost always completed on art board, she provided a gift box. These were in various sizes that matched her standard painting deminsions. The pictured box fit a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ painting. Other box sizes accommodated 4″ x 8,” 6 1/2″ x 8 1/2,” 10″ x 12,” and 7″ x 14″ paintings.  Likely for the purpose of reordering box inventory, she kept the printer’s ink stamp that produced the artwork on the box lid box. (See the “Studio Box Ink Stamp” on another page in this index.)
