This painting of Multnomah Falls was selected by Agnes Barchus as the cover image for her biography story on her mother: Eliza R. Barchus; The Oregon Artist, published in 1974. Though Eliza seldom dated her work, including this painting, Agnes gives 1898 as the date of execution.
