Sonoma Creek is an unusual scene depicted by Mrs. Barchus, and must have been a favorite of hers. It is dated ’94 and remained in the family until the 1970’s. It was included in Barchus’ one-person show that she installed at the Merchants’ Exposition held in Portland in 1931.
