Eliza painted this scene of Mt. Shasta consistently over her long career. Mt. Shasta, along with Mt. Hood and Mt. Rainier, were undoubtedly her most frequent sales and as a result they show up in the market most frequently. Unfortunately, the cascading streams in many of these Mt. Shasta paintings has mechanical feel, which causes the water to look unnatural.
