Oregon’s largest Federal Work Project, Timberline Lodge was built on Eliza’s mountain – Mt. Hood. She took the occasion to pen a poem, and reproduce it as a postcard in 1939. The engraving that was used to illustrate the lodge on Oregon’s icon is at the left.
