This home was the sixth home Eliza had built. It was constructed on an adjacent lot to her third home, having the address of 542 East 27th Street. The family lived in this home until 1927, though there is at least one brief period where they moved next door at the 546 address. The two ladies on the front porch are Eliza and her daughter Belle who was an accomplished actress. The home is now addressed as 2754 SE 27th. This image is from a photograph postcard.
